I am a passionate and dedicated writer who loves to create content that is both informative and engaging. I believe that good writing can change the world, and I strive to make a positive impact through my work.
I have spent more than two decades in the Hollywood community in a variety of different
professional capacities, including as business associate, executive, screenwriter and producer. I was the Executive Director of a number of Awards shows including the 72nd Academy Awards (2000), the Grammy Awards, the Soul Train Awards, and the Blockbuster Awards.
As a professional screenwriter, and owner of The Script Mentor, I wrote “Banking on Betty,” which went on to win the StoryPros competition, the Script Pipeline Competition, and was a Top Ten finalist in Scriptapalooza.
Today, I write on assignment for various production companies, as well as a number of A-list clients, for whom I ghostwrite original screenplays and/or adapt original materials into features or television screenplays for. I am known as the “Ghostwriter to the Stars” for my many works with A-list clientele. Additionally, I am the founder and CEO of the production company, Shark-Eating Man Productions. I served as the Executive Producer for such projects as “Black Salt”, cinema’s first minority superhero originally written in a lead role, and “Debris”, penned by Nicole Jones-Dion. Other projects I have produced include: “Mirror Lake”, “The Dick Jones Project”, “Season of Hope”, “The Girl at the End of the World”, “Practical Uses for a Time Machine”, and the award-winning “Our
Father”, starring Michael Gross.

I regularly contribute my expert thoughts on the industry and screenwriting on The Script Mentor blog, various screenwriting sites, and through a number of groups on LinkedIn.
Prior to my career in the entertainment industry, I lived in New York, am a native of Staten Island, and attended the University of North Georgia. I went on to serve as a Police Officer in Phoenix, Arizona where I was selected as “Officer of the Year” and worked with the Detective Bureau, investigating everything from simple assaults to sex crimes and homicides. I transitioned into private investigation, owning my own business in two states, and later, was requested to help manage the newly-opened Staples Center in Los Angeles in its maiden year of operation.
I love spending time with my wonderful wife and four beautiful and talented children. In recent years, I have developed a love for birding. I am an accomplished singer, and I love sports, politics, traveling, muscle cars, and tagging sharks.
I currently divide my time between Huntsville, Alabama, Los Angeles, and New York.
